Do you need a skip hire permit?

If you are putting a skip on private land such as a driveway you do not need a permit, however if you want to place your skip on the roadside then you will have to acquire a permit from your local council. Usually the largest skip that can go on roadside or a public highway is an 8 yard skip which is the builders skip, so it should be more than adequate for any household job.
Do you need to be at home for your skip delivery?

Not at all! Just let us know where you want the skip to be placed and prep where it is going to be left, and leave us to do the rest of the work.
How long can you keep the skip?

You can hire the skip for as long as you require it for but most skips are hired from one day to two weeks.
